Instructions: This piece consists of 12 sections (A-L). Sections A-K are meant to be looped. For these sections, each instrument is free to play their part with their own sense of time. Violin 1 cues when to move on to the next section. The duration of each section is left to the performers to decide, but should probably not be less than 20 seconds.
 
At section L, the performers should be in rhythmic unison. This section does not loop.
 
Note: This text is known as the "Authorization for the Use of Military Force." It is the legal justification for every covert military operation engaged in by the United States military since 9/11.
